show less The primary mission of NPOFundingSolutionSTM is to raise funds for the operation of paws4peopleTM, Inc. NPOFundingSolutionSTM is the “Development” Division of paws4peopleTM, Inc. It has been given a “brand name” since it has an externally recognized business presence required for the successful completion of its mission.
The ways in which NPOFundingSolutionSTM will accomplish its mission are:
- To expand the typical "Local Community Foundation" concept to an "International Community Foundation" concept, whereby a wide spectrum of non-profit, charitable, educational, and religious organizations worldwide participate in and benefit from our tactical fundraising process. Our goal is to transform the fundraising mentality of non-profit, charitable, educational, and religious organizations by taking advantage of the ways we use the power of the Internet. Organizations will clearly realize that fundraising within a "consortium" is abundantly more cost-efficient and productive than any solitary effort.
- To provide non-profit, charitable, educational, and religious organizations around the world with a mechanism to obtain contributions at NO-DIRECT-COST.
- To leverage the power of the marketing abilities of non-profit, charitable, educational, and religious organizations and directly reward their referral and recruiting efforts through our NO-DIRECT-COST Referral Contribution Program, thereby eliminating costly direct mail, telephone, radio and television marketing campaigns currently associated with non-profit charitable fundraising.
- To create a new pool of donors for the philanthropic community by providing individuals with financial rewards in return for providing money for non-profit, charitable, educational, and religious organizations.
- To empower Donors to designate where the "proceeds" of their donations will go within the wide-spectrum of non-profit, charitable, educational, and religious organizations within our Fields of Interest Categories.
- To utilize our Internet technology capabilities to simplify and maximize fundraising for non-profit, charitable, educational, and religious organizations.
- To reduce to 15% or less our on-line fundraising "expenses."

Nurturing, support, companionship, and sense of belonging must come from alternative sources. Humans and dogs have been companions for thousands of years. Despite the shifting landscape of our society, the bond between humans and dogs has remained steadfast. The positive role that dogs, together with professionals from a broad range of fields of expertise can play in providing companionship, assistance, and as a mechanism for behavioral modification is well known.
The Possibilities are Endless: That’s why the Human-Animal Bond Institute was founded in 2002. A West Virginia based 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, our board of directors includes professionals from the fields of veterinary medicine, education, medicine, disability, mental health, health care policy makers, law, business, social work, and gerontology.
Mission: Our mission is to combine these talents to train, educate and conduct research in the area of the human-animal bond with the outcome of improving both human and animal conditions. show less |

The Friends Fur Life Pet Sanctuary will help give loving homes to animals otherwise unwanted. We are raising money to buy property and build a facility for a no-kill shelter in Orange County, Virginia. Once the dogs and cats are with us, they will not be put down due to lack of homes. We will adopt them out to "forever" homes, or if they can not be adopted, we will keep them in our shelter under our top notch care. show less |

show less Our organization was born in October 2000. At that time, our purpose was basically neutering and spaying the fast-growing population of cats and dogs on Puntarenas’ streets. In order to start this project, it was necessary to make a census on the poorest neighborhoods of Puntarenas. After that, the group began its labor in order to decrease the dogs and cats’ population. Nonetheless, the association did not have enough resources to accomplish its mission. The group started to raise funds by means of making and selling candles and cakes. Also, a group of physicians supported the association by organizing health fairs in which they earned money and donated it to the association. In 2005, two more projects were started by our association. First, since inmates at Puntarenas prison wanted to do something to benefit society, we decided to start a rehabilitation program with them. They were told to take care of the abandoned animals that we are constantly receiving. They take care of them after they are neutered or spayed until they are adopted by people. On the other hand, a project at the special needs school was started, the idea was to give these special kids the opportunity to share their time with animals to give them love by petting them and playing with them. Right now, our group is still working in order to reach our goal, decreasing the cats and dogs population in Puntarenas; we have come a long way. However, it is not enough. We still have to work harder. Actually, on 2007 the World Society for Protection of Animals (WSPA) donated a mobile clinic. However, this is just a pilot project. They are going to support our expenses during a period of two years. Nevertheless, it only includes medical supplies as well as veterinary payment.
Right now, the association is looking forward to begin additional projects. For instance, the group has been considering having kennels at the prison for boarding animals. In addition, the association is considering the possibility of starting a dog training project with the inmates in order to find a home for the street animals. However, resources are insufficient. In fact, the World Society for Protection of Animals is giving support to the neutering service right now but it is going to last only one year and half more. Thus, the economical situation of the association might be threatened even more in the years to come. In anticipation of the additional expenses and costs of the operations it is necessary for us to request your help in obtaining the funds to continue our labor and to achieve our goals. show less |
